Reliable, affordable access to nutritious food is a human right!

Too often, we treat food access as a luxury rather than as a fundamental need and right. I'll fight to protect SNAP, end food deserts with subsidized community stores, and expand WIC to ALL new mothers.

Californians are being squeezed from our homes and could lose everything thanks to unaccountable polluters and skyrocketing premiums.

After taking our money for more than a century, insurers are pulling out of the state because it's no longer profitable thanks to the increased rates of floods and fires caused by climate change.

Meanwhile, the ones most responsible—the biggest polluters—continue to poison our environment, loot our resources, spread disinformation, buy off politicians, and absorb any fines as a cost of doing business.

That's why I support a federally managed, public homeowners insurance program funded by the biggest polluters covering everything from floods to fires to force polluters to finally fight climate change and invest in renewable energy.

Make polluters pay so we can keep our homes.

Health care is a human right.

As a healthcare worker, I saw how our pain is used to generate private profits. We have the most expensive healthcare in the world with the worst outcomes of any developed country. There are not enough patient care providers, many are shackled to endless debt and starvation wages. Worst of all, proven science is under attack putting all of us at risk.

I will fight for single-payer universal health insurance with Medicare For All including full coverage for dental, vision, and hearing.

I'll fight to grow the healthcare & mental health workforce by expanding medical & nursing schools and making them tuition free for every student who qualifies so care providers reflect their communities and provide culturally competent care.

I support empirical scientific consensus on healthcare issues like reproductive treatment, immunization, and gender affirming care.

I will work to sustain rural hospitals and build federal hospitals with minimum funding and specialty care.

Everyone deserves access to high quality care, no matter where they live.

Civil Service jobs and power to the people.

Democracy thrives when there is low inequality and working people have good jobs with strong labor protections.

I will fight for a federal jobs guarantee with a Civil Service Corps offering good union jobs in infrastructure, housing development, green energy, and social services for all who want them.

I support an inflation adjusted livable minimum wage indexed to the cost of living and a universal basic income, especially because of AI.

I support passing the PRO Act(➚) to expand workers' rights including collective bargaining, the right to organize, and the right to strike for ALL workers including federally restricted ones like air traffic controllers, rail-workers, and postal carriers.

It's time we undo the damage of Taft-Hartley and level the playing field for workers.

Protect children & reproductive freedoms.

I support universal childcare, access to fertility treatments like IVF, expanded funding into research affecting women's bodies like PCOS and endometriosis, and a Constitutional right to reproductive care.

Climate change, environmental destruction & economic injustice are linked and demand bold action. My plan: a Green New Deal, creating jobs, restoring ecosystems & building a resilient future.

I’ll work to cut emissions, protect public lands & forests from corporate exploitation, and ensure disadvantaged communities benefit from clean energy investments and are not left holding the bag for the biggest polluters.

Our seniors and most vulnerable people are being directly targeted with unprecedented attacks on Social Security and Medicaid (Medical).

Once elected, I will work to overturn the "Big Beautiful Bill", remove the social security cap on high income earners, undo DOGE damages, make social security easier to use, make payments inflation adjusted with the cost of living, and sustain Medicaid until we have Medicare for All.

As Vets, we're abused by war hungry politicians and forced to fight for care after harms caused during service.

I support making military retirement payments tax exempt.

As a disabled Vet, I oppose efforts to privatize the VA.

I oppose handouts to defense contractors when troops are on food stamps or living with black mold.

I oppose sending troops to die in pointless wars.

It's time we prioritize care for our Vets and Troops.

No support for crimes against humanity.

The Army teaches that collective punishment, forced starvation, and targeting of civilians are war crimes that threaten our national security.

I oppose sending money or weapons to support Israel's or any country's apartheid, genocide, or war crimes.

I support fighting transnational repression(➚) by foreign countries.

I oppose illegal, offensive, and unjust wars and the creation of PTSD and moral injury for our sons and daughters in uniform.

I support creating a just and lasting peace that centers those who have been harmed.

And I support holding every person accountable who commits crimes against humanity.

I support expanding home & community-based services, Money Follows the Person(➚), Office of Special Education programs, and Federal ADA funding and enforcement.

I oppose a return to institutionalization and will work to end seclusion and restraint programs in schools(➚) and end coercive mental health practices(➚).

I also support ratifying the Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities (➚).

Reign in Big Pharma

For far too long, Big Pharma has run rampant, attacking drugs that could help people while creating opioid epidemics and harmful addiction to line their pockets.

I support drug intervention programs that seek to treat the diseases of despair that so often lead to addiction without criminalizing struggle.

I support legalizing cannabis at the federal level and expunging the records of all people who have been convicted of non-violent possession and use.

I support banning direct-to-patient advertising, removing limits on pharma negotiations for Medicare, and capping pharma profits that rely on any publicly funded research.

LGBTQIA+ rights are human rights.

Trans and Queer people have always existed and  LGBT+ people deserve the same rights and protections we all do.

I will fight to enshrine LGBTQIA+ rights and end the ability of the Epstein Class to divide us with bigotry while they hurt our children, rob us blind, and take away our freedoms.

Humane immigration policy

Our immigration system is broken and was built from a wave of anti-Chinese racism in the 1880s(➚).

I support common sense changes to end employer slave labor, make reasonable pathways to citizenship, and ensure human and Constitutional rights for all.

I will fight to abolish ICE which is lawlessly acting as the secret police and was only created out of post-9/11 Islamophobia(➚).

AI can harm us all, but is only benefiting the Epstein class. We have to change that.

I am against new construction of any AI data centers until sweeping regulations are passed to prioritize residential water, electricity, and safety first including proving they will not harm people BEFORE construction and footing the bill for all damages they cause.

I support making AI companies compensate all whose work was stolen without permission to train their models and ensure AI can only enhance jobs, not replace them without a universal basic income.

I also support requiring companies allow consumers to OPT OUT of any and all AI features in computer software, websites, or mobile applications.

Support teachers & students.

Classes are overcrowded, teachers are underpaid, kids are hungry, programs are getting cut, and millions have endless student loan debt.

I will fight for safe and stable education.

I support fully funding and staffing our schools(➚), reforming the Department of Education, and undoing the harms of "No Child Left Behind".

I support livable wages for all teachers and staff, universal Pre-K, and free meals for all students so they can grow up strong and learn well.

I support cancelling all federal student loan debt and making public college & trade schools tuition-free as an investment in our future.

Everyone benefits from education and we need to fight to protect it.

Protect our rights and freedoms.

When I joined the U.S. Army, I swore an oath to defend the Constitution and the rights granted to ALL US persons, not just citizens.

That includes freedom of speech & religion, due process, and no military or secret police on our streets.

Once elected, I will hold the executive branch accountable and claw back Congressional powers from the President.

Reinvigorate anti-trust enforcement and end private monopolies so small businesses can compete.

For half a century, our government has given up on stopping monopolies. The result is unprecedented consolidation across every industry making it impossible for small businesses or new entrants to compete, corrupting our political system, and driving us out of our homes.

I support public ownership of all utility monopolies and taxing the Epstein class out of existence. Supporting those at the bottom of the income and wealth distribution creates more local small businesses, leads to greater economic growth, and builds stronger communities.

I will fight to break up the monopolies, prevent new ones, and bring back real competition.

Whoever has the most money, shouldn't get the biggest say.

Wealthy interests spend infinite money buying our politicians which is why a Princeton study found that what ordinary people want has almost no impact on what policy outcomes actually get passed (➚).

That MUST change.

I support public financing of elections, Constitutional Amendments to overturn Citizens United & legalized slavery, and banning Congressional Stock Trading which steals from our retirement accounts.

Neither party truly represents most Americans because our electoral system turns everything into a false binary:

But our world is more complex than that.

That's why I support proportional representation - the gold standard for representative democracy (➚) - which our Founding Fathers would have chosen had it been invented when they wrote the Constitution.

I support making election days mandatory paid national holidays so every single person's voice can be heard.

I support automatic voter registration for all eligible voters because a democracy should make it easier to vote, not harder.

I support term limits for all government officials including the House, the Senate, and the Supreme Court.

I support expanding the Supreme Court and requiring binding ethical standards for justices.

I support increasing the number of states and representatives like Washington DC and Puerto Rico so everyone's voice is heard.

I oppose the SAVE Act or any other attempt to disenfranchise voters.

Our cities are unfriendly to pedestrians, cyclists, and transit riders. We need to re-imagine the way we design and plan our cities and neighborhoods.

We can improve quality of life by ensuring that people have easy and full access to grocery stores, hospitals and healthcare offices, arts and entertainment, and community spaces.

People should be able to walk, bike, or ride without fearing for their safety.

Rural communities are facing dire threats from ever increasing flood and fire risks thanks to climate change and could lose everything.

Emergency responders in the most impacted areas face mounting risks of toxic exposures from things like lithium-ion fires and are denied the funding they need to keep us safe.

I support full and permanent federal funding for fire readiness, mitigation, and prevention programs like Firewise to protect our homes and communities and to ensure all firefighters and EMT's have the suits, respirators, radios, and PPE to do their jobs safely.

I support breaking up firetruck engine monopolies, allowing 3rd party equipment and services, and ending taxes on taxpayer funded purchases of PPE and fire safety equipment.

I support the creation of a federal database of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and lithium-ion battery storage sites and requiring HAZMAT placards so first responders can stay safe, and holding companies accountable for the harms they cause.

I support expanded funding for research on lithium ion fire impact mitigation.

Emergency responders deserve to be safe while they keep us safe.

There's not enough land for ethical farming everywhere so we need a different approach.

Like our reliance on fossil fuels, our current system of factory farming and animal use is unsustainable.

Workers, communities, and the environment are harmed(➚), pandemics spread(➚), and animals suffer inhumane conditions(➚).

I support increased funding, subsidies, and research for crops grown for direct human consumption, land use alternatives like stewardship and re-wilding, and plant based alternatives for food and medicine to reduce animal suffering.

Animals deserve our compassion.

Large game developers keep telling us we don't own the things we bought anymore. No more.

They take down servers, prioritize micro-transactions over completed content, and are trying to convince us we don't own anything we bought anymore.

I support legislation to require publishers maintain the ability for us to play and access the games we have paid for including server access for discontinued "live service" games that reach end of life. I also support ending disastrous tariff policies that mean new consoles like the Nintendo Switch 2 are almost $1,000.
